Decluttering Tips and Support Weekly Newsletter Vol. 10β Dear Reader, Spring has sprung! πΈ The trees are budding, the pollen is everywhere, and it's time for some cleaning! Unless...you're like me and you never like to clean, even in spring. In which case, it's time for spring decluttering! We just started a Spring Decluttering Series on the podcast, starting with refreshing our routines! With spring sports, new activities, and other things that shift when the weather gets warmer, it's a perfect time to do a routine audit in 4 easy steps. 2. List your current routines that may need to be adjusted - knowing what your schedule looks like for the next month or so, take a look at what routines may need to be changed. Some examples of routines may include:
β Once you have a sense of the routine(s) that need to shift, ask yourself some questions: β‘οΈ What has been working well with these routines? β‘οΈ What isnβt working well? β‘οΈ What schedule changes will require adjustments to be made? (For example, do you need different types of dinners to be portable for after-school sports practices?) β‘οΈ Do I have the resources/help I need to make these changes? If not, can I ask for help? β‘οΈ Am I exceeding or staying within my capacity?β 3. Start with ONE routine to make those adjustments, and test out for a week - for example, you may typically wash sports stuff every two days, but frequent soccer practices means daily loads of sports stuff instead. 4. After that routine is set, move onto the next. Remember, data over drama! Keep tweaking if needed until it feels like things are going smoothly. Today in the Facebook group I did a live coaching session with a group member all about shifting her paper processing routine! If you need additional support with your routines, head on over to the group so we can talk about it! On this journey with you, Emily P.S. Scrolled to the end? No problem. This week on the podcast I shared 4 steps to help you refresh your routines, and spoke to Rose Lounsbury about the connection between simplicity, self-worth, and reaching our greatest potential.β Affiliate links may be included, which means that I get a small commission if you use my link, Thanks! |

Decluttering Tips and Support Weekly Newsletter Vol. 23 Dear Reader, I have always struggled with procrastination.
