Decluttering Tips and SupportDear Reader, For those of you who are following along with our moving journey, we are breathing a bit easier this week with a signed contract on our house. We also have a bid in on a house in Pennsylvania and are anxiously waiting to hear back! A while back, I wrote a blog post about my ten non-negotiable habits that has done well for itself in the land of Google search. :) My habits have mostly stayed the same with a few updates I'd love to share with you. Habits That Have Stayed the Same 1. Making My Bed - If nothing else gets done, it makes me feel like I accomplished SOMETHING for the day. 6. Reading Before Bed - One thing that's changed slightly is that I now read a physical book before bed. It helps signal my brain that it's time to wind down (without the blue light from my phone). What are some of your daily non-negotiable habits? Reply and let me know. On the PodcastDue to moving logistics, I didn't get a regular episode recorded. However, this bonus chat with my friend Michelle Byrd from The Busy Vibrant Mom Podcast is all about prioritizing when things are busy! I hope you enjoy it. Things I'm Loving Right Now✨ My decluttering/organizing tool of the week is the Moms Spring Break Bundle which goes until April 30. This is my last reminder about this amazing resource!! It features resources from former guests on the podcast, such as: ✔️ Michelle Byrd - Chaos to Calm eBook ✔️ Jessica Przulj - The Weekly Reset Workshop As part of the Bundle, am sharing my 5 C's of Decluttering mini-course which includes a workbook with links to video lessons, reflection questions, and additional resources. If you want an easier end to the school year and a smoother start to summer, do yourself a favor and grab it today! ✨ My decluttering/organizing resource of the week is Color Guru which is having a Mother's Day sale starting April 27 through Saturday, May 2. You get 20% off using my code OVERWHELM at checkout! I love my color card and use it all the time for clothing and makeup. ✨ My favorite recipe of the week is this bacon frittata with potato and spinach. I love frittatas because they are so versatile, and this one had an awesome flavor combination. On the journey with you, Emily |

Decluttering Tips and Support Dear Reader, We are officially moving from Virginia to Pennsylvania this summer, and I have NEVER been more grateful for my clutter-free home. In order to get house "listing-ready" we've had to clear surfaces, relocate furniture, and maximize the space to entice potential buyers. Watch out! Don't open that closet! Since we don't have a garage, any excess stuff has been moved to part of our basement. As I moved Lego sets, bean bag chairs, bookshelves, and end...
Decluttering Tips and Support Dear Reader, Have you ever heard of the Great Stuff Transfer? It's when Boomer parents try to give their stuff (mostly furniture, housewares, heirlooms, etc.) to their children who either don't have the room for the items or don't want them. Perhaps you've experienced a variation of this, where you're given boxes of items from your childhood that your parents were holding onto for years. I was given all my report cards since kindergarten. :) It seems that while...
Decluttering Tips and Support Dear Reader, You can't take it anymore. The stuff is driving you CRAZY. You grab a trash bag and start rage decluttering. Nothing is safe. It HAS TO GO. That's what I call a clean sweep! 20 minutes in, and you finally feel like you're getting into a groove. Today you WILL take back your home! And then...."MOM! I need you!" Or the dog needs to go out. Or your phone starts pinging with a text message from work and you get distracted. And by the time you get back to...
